Zuri Life Scholarships

Many families in Mfangano can not afford to send their children to school. School fees can be a huge burden, especially for single mothers and families going through difficult circumstances. When families can’t keep up with the cost, children may be forced to miss school or leave altogether, even when they are eager to learn and build a better future.

That’s why we created Zuri Life’s Scholarship Program. We believe every child deserves the chance to stay in school and pursue their goals, regardless of their family’s financial situation.

This year, we were able to award scholarships to Eunice and Zera Saggy, both from a single-parent household, to help them continue their education. We also supported Wickliffe with a scholarship to help him stay in school and keep working toward his goals. 

Moving forward, we plan to award one scholarship each year to help another child stay in school. We want to make sure a child’s future is shaped by their dreams and hard work, not by the circumstances they were born into.
